We all get that feeling of "deja vu", where a place or an object seems familiar. People who believe in reincarnation suggest that this is proof of a previous existence.
You discuss with a spectator that feeling we all get when an object feels familiar, or how you can visit a new town but somehow seem to recognise the layout of the streets.
A card with six objects is shown and the spectator mentally chooses something that, for no reason she can put her finger on, she is subconsciously drawn to. You now hand her six face-down cards, each depicting a person from times past. The spectator must clear her mind, almost going in to a hypnotic trance, before mixing the cards up and laying one aside from the others.
Amazingly when the card is turned over the person depicted on it and the object first chosen are somehow a match. Is this proof of a life your spectator lived before?
No hypnosis or leading questions, just plain, simple magic.
You can now shuffle the character cards and get a second spectator to take a face-down card that they feel drawn to. Amazingly you are able to read their mind and tell them precisely which past life they have lived.

The set of six character cards (300g card, uncoated) cards measuring 90mm X 60mm.
An object card (300g card, uncoated) measuring 120mm X 90mm.
