A few Kind WordsA fun mentalism trick to perform with a couple.A packet of 12 cards with words such as, Lazy, Fussy, Grumpy etc is shown to a loving couple, or maybe a pair of best friends. You ask them, in a light-hearted joking way, if they have ever privately used any of these words to describe the other person.
You get one of the spectators to shuffle the cards then you proceed to flash each word to them, one at a time. You now ask them both to make a sub-conscious choice of one of these words and to remember it. When they have done this you place a card face down on the table as your prediction.
At the count of three you get them both to shout out their chosen word - your audience will roar with laughter as the pair of them holler out the same word.
Finally you turn over your chosen card to reveal that exact word.
Completely self-working, no sleights, spelling or forcing. It can be a different word each time you perform this effect. Just keep the packet in your pocket and you are ready to perform anytime.
You will receive:
A list of 12 words to use for the effect.
12 blank face playing cards to write the words on (plus a couple of spares).
A fine point permanent marker pen.
A small envelope to present the cards in.
