Chinese Zodiac Test
This can be performed as a fun routine or part of a more serious mentalsim show.
There is is belief that a person's horoscope and personality is closely associated to their Chinese zodiac sign, determined by their birth year. These animals are thought to have magical powers and one of their lesser known powers is the ability to find lost items.
A playing card is chosen by your spectator and then shuffled back into the deck. A chart is now handed to the spectator which shows the Chinese zodiac animals and underneath these is a list of characteristics that a person might have, based on their zodiac sign. Your spectator must find their zodiac animal from the list of years printed on the back of the chart.
She now takes the cards and then, using her zodiac animal and her freely chosen most dominant characteristic, sorts through the face-down cards. Eventually she is left holding just one card, when she turns it over she finds her lost card.
