Cluedo Murder Mystery Magic Trick

In this self-working magic trick, based on the family game, you predict who killed Dr Black, what weapon was used, and in which room.
At the start of the effect you place an envelope on the table which from now on will only be touched by your spectator. Inside is your prediction of who the killer is, what weapon was used, and in which room the deed was committed.
You spectator makes a random choice of a killer from the six character cards before placing the six weapon cards, in any order he wishes, in the six rooms of the house. He now removes five of the weapons leaving one last weapon in one of the rooms.
After all this has been performed the spectator finally picks up the envelope that has remained untouched throughout. Inside he finds your prediction that matches the killer, the weapon and the room.
An alternative presentation to this effect could be where you state that like in the game there is a murderer, weapon and room noted in the envelope. The spectator then has to find out the identity of these items just as if they were playing the game. This makes the spectator the clever person, not the performer.
