A man standing at the Gates Of Hell pleads with the Devil, crying that he was a good man and had chosen his paths through life wisely. The Devil just laughs and proceeds to show him how free will could never change his fate or his destiny.
Five cards are laid out on the table, each one depicting a different interpretation of the Gates Of Heaven, and a sealed prediction is placed above them. Some cards are placed face-down, others face-up. The devil swaps the cards around, face-up cards are turned face-down and face-down cards are turned face-up. Finally he hands a skull token to the man and demands that, using free will, he place the token on any card. When all is done the Devil shows how fate, and not free will, has led the man to his destiny. The skull token has ended up at the Gates Of Hell and the prediction in the envelope matches this exactly.
Totaly self-working, this strong effect has two clever "outs" that will totally fool your audience.
