Mosquito Monte
A pesky mosquito buzzing around your spectator. You show three cards, two are blanks and one shows the mosquito. You go into a normal three card monte routine where the cards are thrown face down onto the table, mixed around, then your spectator tries to swat the mosquito but end up hitting empty air (a blank card).
After a couple of attemps you say that you will make it easier for him. You place one card face-down on the table and show him that you are left holding just one blank card and the mosquito card. You mix them around face-down then ask him tell you which card is the mosquito. Whichever card he chooses you turn over to show a blank. You tell him that you will give him a second chance, where is the mosquito? He can't fail because you are only holding one card, but when you turn it over it is another blank card.
As a finale you say that the mosquito must have buzzed down onto the table so you get him to slam his hand onto the card you placed there. When he turns it over he finds a squashed mosquito.
A hilarious routine that works with any audience. The cards have been gimmicked to take away all the hard work. No Elmsley counts or double lifts!
