Fun design playing cards - Includes two routines, compass card and wooden cross
These stylish retro looking playing cards, made from a medium quality card are perfect for your effects with a pirate theme. The backs show a pair of skull and crossbones. Includes a full set of cards plus two jokers.
***Please Note*** these are not vintage or antique but brand new modern cards printed to get an aged look.

Treasure Hunt
With the help of a compass card, a wooden cross and the retro playing cards your little helper is able to find the buried pirate treasure.
A card is chosen (the treasure) and then is hidden back within the deck of cards which have been shuffled by your spectator. Using the shuffled deck as a treasure map along with the compass card, your little helper turns over small blocks of cards which give him instructions on how many paces to the next clue. For the next clue he deals as many cards as paces he has just taken. Finally he deals one last block of cards which he marks with the wooden cross as the location of the buried treasure, the remainder of the deck is put aside. When this block is turned over everyone is amazed to see it reveal the hidden chosen card, the pirate treasure has been found.
Treasure Diver
Your spectator takes a packet of cards from the deck and chooses one to be the treasure which he buries somewhere in the centre.
You take the packet and turn the top card face-up, this will be your diver. The diver goes to the bottom of the ocean (the packet of cards) then you commence to mix the cards dealing some to the table and some to the bottom. You repeat this until you only hold your diver card and a single face-down card below it. When this card is turned over it is shown to be the lost treasure card.
Both the above effects are simple to perform, all you need worry about is your presentation. Although we advertise them as children's magic they can both be performed to an adult audience and will totally fool them.
You will receive:
1 X deck of playing cards (made from medium quality card) as per the photo.
1 X plastic coated compass card 8cm X 6cm.
1 X mini wooded cross 45mm tall.
