Space Oddity
A magical trip around our solar system
In the famous song David Bowie sang about Major Tom getting lost in space. If only he had used a mentalist like you to help get the astronaut home.
Nine cards depicting the planets are laid out on the table. You turn your back then get Major Tom to place his spacecraft on any planet, you have no idea which one it is. With your back still turned, you read from an old flight manual and instruct him to move the spaceship around the planets, in any direction he pleases. After each move one or two of the planets are removed, even without looking you know that he has not landed on those.
Amazingly after more and more planets have been removed the ship lands on the only one remaining. Major Tom is back home on Earth.
Everything can be inspected at the end.
This is a great piece of fun mentalism for amateur or professional.

There is an ingenious trap built in which ensures that any 'smart Alec' who says they can perform the effect will FAIL.
