Super Soft Bolt
The magician shows a normal nut and bolt to his audience, they can try and bend the bolt but it is completely rigid as expected. He then gets a spectator to rub a finger gently along the bolt and the magic happens. The spectator now pushes down in the centre of the bolt and it bends as if made of putty, the magician even bends it back and forward to further demonstrate this. Again the spectator rubs his finger gently on the bolt, immediately it goes back to solid, rigid metal and is handed out for inspection.
