You bring out 3 cards with bicycle backs. You show the first card which depicts six face-up playing cards. Your spectator must simply remember one of these cards, a totally free choice.
You show the next card which depicts the backs of the playing cards. You say that the cards have been turned face-down and when they turn back the spectator's card will have disappeared. You now ask your spectator to name their card.
Finally you show the third card. It depicts the six cards once more, but amazingly their chosen card has indeed turned blank.
Totally self-working. No double cards, funny handling or sticky stuff - just three cards.
