You give a reading of the past and present before predicting your spectator's future. So easy with the supplied cards as they each have their basic meaning printed on them.

The performer introduces the 22 major Arcana from a pack of tarot cards and gets the spectator to give the packet a mix before holding them tightly whilst meditating on their future. As they do this the performer removes a business card from his pocket, writes something on the blank side and places it writing side down on the table, it is never touched again by the performer.

The spectator deals any amount of cards they like into three separate pile, these piles are arranged in a triangle around the business card to represent past, present and future.

The top cards of the first two piles are turned over, these cards are used to give a reading for the past and present in that order. 

Finally, the top card of the last pile, at the point of the triangle, is now turned over. This card represent the future, once the reading has been made the spectator is asked to turn over the business card, she sees that you have predicted her future before any cards were dealt.

Totally self-working, no funny moves. The final prediction can be any of the 22 major arcana.

Bonus routine - Chariot of Fate

The magician explains to a spectator that in a moment she will have her future read in a most bizarre and spooky way.

Nine cards from the major arcana are placed face-up in a 3X3 pattern, a strange object is given to the spectator to hold. An eerie voice instructs the spectator to place the strange object on any card. They must now move the object over the cards wherever they wish, after each move a card is removed. Finally the object rests on one lone card. Even though the spectator had free choice throughout, somewhat disturbingly the voice names the card the object rests on and proceeds to give a reading based on this card.

Another totally self-working effect. This will astonish your audience.

(use any interesting object you have as the counter. You also need a phone with a voice recorder.
