You bring out three envelopes and place them in a row as you explain that in one of them is some money. If the spectator finds the envelope containing the money then it is his to keep.

You even state that you will not touch the envelopes again, your spectator will do all the mixing - what could be more fair than that.

Your spectator proceeds to swap the envelopes around, for as long as he wishes. At the end he takes two envelopes, leaving one lone envelope on the table.

He now opens his two envelopes, inside is just paper. When he opens the envelope that he discarded he of course finds the money.

Easy to perform as this effect is totally self-working but the method will really fool them.

No double flaps or sleight of hand, you don't even touch the envelopes.
